Bienna Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced by the Agricultural Cooperative of Viannos in southeastern Crete. The cooperative brings together local olive growers whose groves are located throughout the wider Viannos area.

The region has a distinctive Mediterranean environment, situated between the Dikti Mountains and the Libyan Sea. Generations of olive cultivation have made Viannos an established olive-growing area of Crete.
